It isn’t easy being green…or is it? Do you ever wonder if there is an easy way to accomplish this? How about if you could tackle this AND make some money? Well, I have pondered that question myself and Tuesday Girl has a solution for you and it’s brought to you by an AWESOME client and friend.
It’s fall and just like spring cleanup, I like fall CLEANOUT. It’s out with the old and make room for the new centering around (yes I am going to say that awful “C” word) Christmas and also in anticipation of the following spring. I love the idea of cleaning out all my closets, drawers, storage rooms and then as an added bonus making some money on the side. I know you are just waiting for me to tell you what this is all about aren’t you?
In these tough economic times we are looking for bargains right? Well, you may have all the bargain you need right in your kid’s closets or perhaps in a storage room or in the garage. And aren’t we all looking for ways to be environmentally conscious at the same time? Well then, Consign my Closet is for you and they make it really easy to help you out! Yes, you have to do the cleaning out, but they will help you do the rest! You know, if you are tired of asking all your friends to buy candy, popcorn, wrapping paper, candles and more..this can be used as a fundraiser for your school~if you are part of the PTO or know someone that is, pass this blog along. Here is an excerpt right from their website about who and why:
Chances are you’re reading this because you have closets, bins, and drawers overflowing with things you no longer need. Kids grow so fast – their clothing, toys, gear and sports stuff often get used only a few times and end up collecting dust in the back of their closets. Consign My Closet offers a fun, simple, green way to clean out and replenish your kid’s closets!
I really love this idea that’s why I am passing it along. Their spring event was a HUGE success and the fall event is coming up in a couple of weeks. You know the shopping part is just out of this world! I encourage you to go for the shopping or to participate and consign. The event is October 8-10th at the Boxboro Holiday Inn and you will be amazed at the money you can make and the bargains you will find!
I just know you are interested in this idea too so please go to their website and check it out! Again, it’s Consign My Closet and your Tuesday Girl rates this a 10 and I hope to see you there! Here are a few pics from the spring event so you can see just how many items there are to browse ~ come on down and have a fantastic time!
